Paper Garden

Nagasaki, Japan, 2011

Paper Garden is an ephemeral installation composed of six hundred paper flowerheads, six hundred paper stalks, and eighteen hundred paper leaves. It was folded with the help of fifteen local people in fifteen days. This project is a reaction to a brief asking for an exhibition garden that would last for one week. Paper Garden was awarded the Silver Medal and the Special Judges Award of the Nagasaki Gardening World Cup 2011.
