As part of the renovation program of the Vondelpark in Amsterdam a competition for new park furniture was held. The winning proposal Vondel Verses, takes its inspiration from the original ideas of the Vondelpark, which is designed in a romantic-English style. The park has different characters which together form a whole. This variation is illustrated by the application of different motifs in the frames of the bench, inspired by the flora and fauna of the location. The new furniture for the Vondelpark consists of benches, lighting, information boards, name plates for the rose garden, name plates for monumental trees, title plates for art pieces and monuments, litter bins, and drinking fountains.
