The Reading Room of the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius acts like an interior garden. It is an informal and dynamic space for meetings and studies. The custom-made furniture consists of individual objects that together form whole entities. Each table has a unique shape. When grouped together, the tables form one large rectangular table. The adjustable lamps can hang on a different heights. As they are pulled up they start to form a new ceiling. Each chair is made unique through different embroidered seedlings, and together they form a ‘chair garden’.
